Starting his career in sales with Modi Xerox Turan further worked
with organizations like NIS, Max New York Life, IL&FS, Reliance
Life and Future Generali.
At IL&FS he headed the Academy for
Insurance and Finance as the Chief Operating Officer and was
responsible to run the organization.
The Academy was providing
Learning services to the Insurance, Banking and Equity Mutual
Fund distribution companies
Turan’s last assignment was with
Future Generali Life Insurance as Vice President and Head of
Learning Development for the organization managing
a team of approximately 100 trainers for around 4000 employees and 50 000
advisors.
Having certifications in Coaching Mentoring, Behavioural
and Selling Skills, Turan has implemented various learning initiatives
and training needs assessment programs for clients like NTPC, Indian
Oil, HDFC Life, Aviva Life, Unitech, HDFC Bank, Reserve Bank of India,
ICICI Pru Life, SBI Life to name a few.
Turan is also a Director on
Grey Matters Learning Solutions floated with an old ex colleague and
friend in 2012.
Sonali is a commerce graduate with a degree in Corporate Law. She spent
several years of work with ‘ Life Insurance Corporation managing
backend processes like Customer Servicing, New Business processing
and Sales Administration.
She is our expert in back end administration, internal processes and
money matters. She is the backbone of the organization managing all
partner relationships and ensuring that the organization never runs
out of resources while also focussing on optimal utilization.
Parag is a Hotel management graduate with a Masters in Tourism Management He is also a certified ISO 9001 trainer and auditor.
After working for about 15 years in the hospitality industry with prominent hotel
chains like the Welcome Group, Claridges Bhatnagar Hotels he branched out as an
Independent Consultant initially in Hospitality and eventualy in Quality Management
Systems.
He has consulted for clients like Agasta Software, Heptacare Power Equipments , Green Façade Solutions, Ahlcon India,
and Chefline Associates and Air Hostess Academy. He has been on expert panel with DNV for audits at The Oberoi
Hotels, ITC Hotels, Gateway Hotel, The Park, Hotel Vasant Continental, Hotel Siddharth, Paharpur Business Centre,
Birla Power and has done audit and training assignments at National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) and
Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation to name a few.
He has been a visiting faculty at Government Institute of Hotel Management and School of Vocational Studies.
Balu as he is fondly known in the Industry, has a Bachelor of Science degree from Chennai
University (1984-87), followed by Industrial experience of 25 Yrs of Marketing & Sales in the
Pharma Industry combined with intense spells as a trainer (both freelance as well as in the
companies he worked for). This background has set him up to be a committed trainer working to
achieve greater heights as a trainer and coach.
His work stints with Industry majors like Cipla and Ranbaxy combined with his stints as a trainer
in Insurance, Education, Heavy Industry & Retail EWM sectors have given him a good insight into
the workings of the Indian Industry
His long stints as a trainer have developed his skills for communication and people understanding
to a level that makes him capable of connecting well with his audience and conveying concepts
with clarity, while maintaining interest.

him) is passionate about Training Development. DJ has over 24 years of experience with training
corporates on various behavioral skills in industries like Telecom, Retail, Automobile, Engineering etc
